Disneyland Paris is about 32 km east of CDG — close on the map, complicated in practice when you're pushing a trolley of suitcases with excited children. Here's how families actually get there.
TGV train
A high-speed TGV connects CDG to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy (the Disney station) in about 10–12 minutes, from roughly €18 per person. Sounds perfect — but trains run only about once an hour, tickets for the right slot sell out, and you still need to get everyone and everything from your terminal to the station platform, then from Disney's station to your hotel with a shuttle. Great if the schedule happens to match your landing time. Stressful if it doesn't.
Shared shuttle buses
Shared shuttles cost around €24 per adult. The trade-off of any shared service: you wait for other flights, and the bus tours several hotels before yours. A 30-minute drive becomes 60–90 minutes of "are we there yet".
Private transfer — the family option
A private CDG–Disneyland transfer is €79 for up to 3 passengers, €115 for up to 7 — per vehicle. Baby seats and boosters are free, the driver waits at arrivals with your name, and you're dropped at your exact Disney or partner hotel 30–45 minutes later. For a family of four, the private car costs less than four shuttle seats and saves an hour of holiday.
The verdict
Couple, light luggage, landing right before a TGV departure: the train is unbeatable on speed. A family with children and bags: the private transfer is the one parents book the second time — so book it the first time. Fixed price, free child seats, flight tracked.
